Jitesh Sharma-led Vidarbha start SMAT campaign against Odisha

NAGPUR: After a near perfect start to the longer format earlier this season, Vidarbha would look to carry on the momentum in the T20s. First up in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy (SMAT) Vidarbha face Odisha on Saturday.

The IPL auctions, to be held on Sunday, will no doubt be on the back of players' minds. SMAT's opening round matches on Saturday provide T20 specialists a chance to come with special performances and force the franchise owners to have a last-minute rethink.
