JIND: In the ongoing sexual assault case involving 142 girls by the school principal in Haryana's Jind district, the Haryana police have expanded charges by adding Section 3 (1) (W) (i) of the Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) Prevention of Atrocities Act.
This addition follows the testimony of another girl who came forward to record her statement under Section 164 CrPC. Previously, five girls had already provided statements before a magistrate, and now the total count has reached six, according to officials.
