That can be said for a handful of players.
For someone like Miami Heat’s Jimmy Butler, the city of Chicago still loves him and he still has plenty of love for the Windy City.
During All-Star media availability, Butler spoke on how well the Bulls were playing this season, tied for the best record in the Eastern Conference with his Miami Heat.
“The Chicago Bulls deserve to win. I got so much love for Chicago. Always will,” Butler said. “I’m glad that they are back at the top of things.”
Butler spent the first six years of his career in Chicago and if both the Bulls and Heat stay atop the Eastern Conference, that could set up a meeting in the playoff between the two teams.
