After the No. 8 seed Heat defeated the No. 1 seed Bucks during the first round of the postseason, Miami’s Jimmy Butler only had one thing on his mind.
Not only did he have a playoff career-high during Game 4 of the series, but he also had a jaw-dropping game-tying shot in the closeout victory over the Bucks. Butler massively stepped up in the fourth quarter of both games.
During his postgame walk-off interview, Butler was asked how he plans to spend his time before the second round of the postseason begins. He then provided the most heartwarming answer about simply doing the little things with his 3-year-old daughter.

“I’m going to play with my daughter, man. I love her to death. I miss her. I’ve been away for a very long time. We’re going to get ice cream. We’re going to the park. We’re doing a lot of different stuff.”
It is very tough for these players to spend so much time away from their families while they’re on the road.
Fortunately, though, Butler will have a few extra days to spend with them before beginning the series with the Knicks on Sunday.
