Estates of Jimi Hendrix bandmates sue major label over streaming rights

Jimi Hendrix’s former bandmates died in “relative poverty” while record labels continue to profit from their contributions through streaming, their estates have claimed.

The estates of Noel Redding and Mitch Mitchell are pursuing legal action against Sony Music Entertainment UK (SMEUK) in the High Court, alleging that they have been consistently excluded from a share of revenue.
