Jim Harbaugh killed ‘Bet’ by turning Michigan’s rallying cry into a corny acronym

After weathering the storm of their sign-stealing controversy (for now), Jim Harbaugh’s Michigan Wolverines officially earned the No. 1 seed in the College Football Playoff. And even though they might not like their matchup with Alabama, it looks like Harbaugh has his team raring to go in only a manner he can.

While discussing Michigan’s infamous “bet” rallying cry on Sunday, Harbaugh did the most Harbaugh thing possible. He turned “bet” into a corny motivational acronym for his players: “Better Everyone Together.”

I mean, the acronym barely makes sense. It hinges on the absence of grammar and is kind of a stretch in itself. He probably put 30 whole seconds of thought into this and concluded it was the coolest breakthrough.

But I suppose that’s par for the course for Harbaugh and his Wolverines.

This was how Twitter reacted to Harbaugh's corny acronym
