Refereeing decisions are costing Aberdeen big time, insists fed-up manager Jim Goodwin.
His side lost 2-0 to Hearts in midweek thanks to goals from John Souttar and Stephen Kingsley, making it two draws and a defeat for the former St Mirren boss since taking over the Pittodrie reins last month.
However, Goodwin believes results like the one at Tynecastle could have ended differently if the officials awarded the correct decision.
Declan Gallagher had an early opener ruled out by referee Steven McLean for a foul on Ellis Simms when the game was still all square. While Goodwin claims his side also had a goal wrongly disallowed for offside in his debut as Dons manager at Fir Park.
He told Red TV: "I would love for you guys to mention the disallowed goal that we had and talk about that because it's not the first one since I've been in the door.
"We've had two blatantly obvious goals chalked off for no reason whatsoever but poor decision making from the officials.
"If you want to have a look back to the game against Motherwell when we had a goal chalked off for offside which should've stood and we had a perfectly good goal disallowed the other night at 0-0, which could've meant the game had a completely different outcome."
The Dons currently languish in 10th position in the Scottish Premiership and travel to Ibrox to face Rangers on Saturday hoping to avoid an unwanted record as they edge closer to racking up two 10 game winless runs in the same season, although they have yet to lose to the Govan side so far this season.
Goodwin added: "We need to try and carry on that unbeaten run against them. We know how difficult the task is going to be.
"Rangers are playing particularly well at the moment and they have got a real consistency in their starting 11 as well as the way that Giovanni van Bronckhorst wants his team to play.
"It's going to be a difficult task but we have to go into it with the right mindset and be positive.
"The players have shown in the past that they are capable of raising their game when they are playing against the big boys.
"So we will look for the same reaction from them tomorrow."
