Aberdeen manager Jim Goodwin has been served a notice of complaint by the Scottish FA for his comments about Hibs defender Ryan Porteous.
The Dons boss labelled the Hibs centre-back a 'cheat' after he won a penalty in the 3-1 Hibees success over Aberdeen last Saturday, which counterpart Liam Scales earned a second booking for with Porteous tumbling to the floor. Now he's been hit with a breach of disciplinary rules 73 and 77 in the SFA's code.
That section talks about bringing the game into disrepute and acting in the best interests of the game. A hearing has been set for Thursday October 6, which will come just under a week after Premiership action resumes following the international break. Luis 'Duk' Lopes put Aberdeen ahead in the game against Martin Boyle's but Martin Boyle's penalty and a Josh Campbell penalty sealed success for home manager Lee Johnson.

Goodwin said post-match of the penalty incident involving Porteous: “We showed our players a number of instances when Porteous has won penalties like that in the past.
“People will say he’s good at it and he’s clever. But it’s blatant cheating as far as I’m concerned and it’s cost my team points.
"I told him to his face after the game what I thought of him. I don’t care what he reads in the paper on Sunday and Monday. He knows. He’s laughing about it."
