A jilted bride decided to carry on with her wedding without her groom when he failed to turn up - after spending her life savings on it. Kayley Stead, 27, discovered she wasn't going to marry her partner of almost four years when he failed to arrive for their nuptials.
After receiving the heartbreaking news that her soon-to-be-husband wasn't going to appear - delivered by her partner's crying mum - Kayley made the unusual decision to go ahead with the wedding. The big day was scheduled for September 15 at Oxwich Bay Hotel in Gower.
Kayley had hoped to tie the knot in style surrounded by her loved ones in a wedding costing £12,000. Instead, the day unfolded in a very different manner than the bride-to-be had intended.
