I'm A Celebrity winner Jill Scott was greeted by her doting fiancée Shelly Unitt after she was crowned Queen of the jungle on Sunday night.
Football icon Jill, 35, beat Hollyoaks star Owen Warner and MP Matt Hancock to the throne after a gruelling three weeks in the Australian jungle, and after her winner chat with hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, Jill finally got to embrace her love Shelly on the famous I'm A Celebrity bridge.
Jill and Shelly, who have been together for over six years, are finally back together after the football star's epic jungle journey - but the lovebirds have been away from one another for much longer stints throughout their romance.
Shelly, 37, has two daughters, named Evie, 19, and Hattie, 15, and often finds herself feeling divided between her commitment as a mum and her devotion to supporting Jill while she is out of the UK for tournaments.
While Shelly and her daughters are usually able to keep in contact with Jill while she's away, the time apart over the past three weeks proved incredibly difficult for Jill's fiancée due to the fact there was no contact between them - besides one letter that Shelly sent into camp in week two.
In the sweet letter, Jill's love penned: "Hi Jill it’s Shelly, I love you and miss you so much.
"There isn’t a minute that goes by where you’re not on my mind. I love you so much and now the rest of the world does too. This is because you’re such a great person with your positive, kind and encouraging self. I’ll have a flat white waiting for you, love your biggest fans, Shelly, Evie and Hattie.”
Lifting the lid on how tough it has been down through the years due to Jill's football commitments, her fiancée explained: "Jill with her football went away with tournaments month to month but we always have contact so this has been the first time ever not speaking.
“So I am really missing her, I think everyone is missing her."
After her daughters convinced their mum to travel to Australia to meet Jill at the final, Shelly opened up about how their home life had been while Jill had been battling it out in the jungle.
"It is a quieter home. Very quiet," she told The Mirror.
“I have got two daughters as well, Evie and Hattie, and so they are missing her and bouncing around. They will watch the show.
"They are so proud of Jill and really excited. I didn't want to leave them at first but they said 'go go'."
It comes as the football star was elated with her big win on Sunday, with her new friends and co-stars cheering her on as she was declared the new Queen of the Jungle.
Speaking as she was crowned, Jill smiled wildly as she celebrated her win. Owen, who placed second, was also thrilled for her.
"I can't believe it. I honestly think I'm going to owe my grandma a lot of money," she said, "These guys were absolutely incredible. I don't think there should be one winner."
She added prior to the winner being announced: "When I first stepped into the jungle and looked around at all of the celebrities, no way am I getting anywhere near that final. To be part of the final three with Owen and Matt, god, it just meant the world.
"I’ve watched it since being a little kid. I’m still in shock to be honest."
