Taylor Swift fans, who perhaps plan on getting engaged soon, can now get themselves a ring based on the albums the popstar has created across her whole career. British wedding and engagement ring specialists at Jessica Flinn have launched a collection of rings inspired by every single Taylor Swift album - including a ring inspired by her ongoing Eras Tour.
It comes as the 33-year-old singer-songwriter announced today (July 7) that she has re-released one of her early albums, Speak Now, after recording her songs again - without constraints of music labels that once shackled her of such control. Sharing the news on Twitter, she said: "It’s here. It’s yours, it’s mine, it’s ours.
"It’s an album I wrote alone about the whims, fantasies, heartaches, dramas and tragedies I lived out as a young woman between 18 and 20. I remember making track list after track list, obsessing over the right way to tell the story. I had to be ruthless with my choices, and I left behind some songs I am still unfailingly proud of now.
"Therefore, you have six From The Vault tracks! I recorded this album when I was 32 (and still growing up, now) and the memories it brought back filled me with nostalgia and appreciation. For life, for you, for the fact that I get to reclaim my work. Thank you a million times, for the memories that break our fall. Speak Now (MY VERSION!) is out now."
In wake of the alum's drop, Jessica Flinn-Allen, CEO of Jessica Flinn, said: "We are so pleased to finally launch this stunning Taylor collection for all Taylor Swift superfans. Our luxury e-commerce assistant, Charlotte, was the brains behind the collection and a T-Swift superfan, she first came to me with the idea a few months ago.
"Before this, we’ve actually been monitoring the general interest in concert proposals from Harry Styles to Adele. We’ve specifically seen a 24 per cent increase in Google searches for ‘concert proposals’ over the past month alone.
"We specifically chose Taylor Swift for this collection as she’s an inspiration for so many women worldwide. She’s also a massive advocate for women’s rights and strongly supports the LGBTQIA+ community which here at Jessica Flinn we align so deeply with." Have a look at the collection yourself below.
The Alison ring - Taylor Swift:
The Alison ring is inspired by the colours within her Taylor Swift album cover, filled with sea blues and greens and was a perfect ring to use the company's "favourite" teal sapphires in. The asymmetric clusters are reminiscent of the fabulous bouncy curls of her hair.
Taylor was only 16-years-old when her debut album was released, and some of the songs had been written as young as 12.
The Abi ring - Fearless:
The Abi ring is inspired by Taylor Swift’s iconic 'Fearless Spin'. Featured in her Fearless Tour, and recently her Era’s tour, which always gets the fans going crazy.
Yellow was the obvious choice for this centre stone, inspired by the gorgeous golden shade of her album cover.
The Hayley ring - Speak Now:
The Hayley ring is inspired by Taylor's flowing dress on the album cover for Speak Now. The jewellery company said: "The gorgeous shade of purple is so eye-catching and just screams Speak Now". the Hayley ring features a stunning pear-cut purple sapphire accompanied with a cluster of pear-cut lab-grown diamonds."
Arguably a fan favourite album, Swifties have been highly anticipating the release of Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) - released today (July 7).
The Autumn ring - Red:
The Autumn ring takes inspiration from Taylor's stunning Cathy Waterman ring, worn on the cover of her Red (Taylor’s Version) album. The ring features beaded detail, and "we know all too well it had to include a gorgeous red stone, I chose a garnet for that incredible deep red colour," Jessica Flinn said.
The Liberty ring - 1989
Jessica says the Liberty ring had to be "simple, clean and stunning". She revealed: "I chose a gorgeous pale blue sapphire, inspired by the pale sky blue tones featured on the album cover.
"I felt that the rectangular cut stones were reminiscent of the polaroid images that were included in the deluxe editions."
The Bonnie ring - Reputation
"There will be no further explanation. There will just be reputation. The Bonnie ring had to be bold and stand out," Jessica says.
The Reputation album was Taylor’s way of taking back the narrative from the toxic media industry and breaking down the walls (or suitcases) that had kept her in hiding for nearly three years. The Reputation ring includes a stunning kite cut deep smoky salt and pepper diamond.
The Stella ring - Lover
The Stella ring features a pink pear-cut sapphire, and is surrounded by a halo of diamonds, blue sapphires, and tanzanites, creating an incredible ombre of colours inspired by the tones on the album cover. Lover was Taylor’s first album that was completely hers.
After breaking free of record labels, Taylor was able to own the masters for her Lover album. She was also inspired to re-record her past albums so she could own those too.
The Inez ring - Folklore
Explaining the Inez ring, Jessica said: "Folklore, for me and so many other Swift fans, was the soft blanket that got us through the loneliness of the coronavirus >Covid lockdowns. Released as a surprise album, she really did take us by surprise, with a brand new genre she had not explored before."
The Inez ring features a large salt and pepper oval cut diamond and is joined by a pair of salt and pepper pear cut diamonds. It is finished with four marquise cut diamonds.
The Este ring - Evermore
"The sister album to Folklore, Taylor went and surprised us again with Evermore," Jessica adds. "A similar, yet still unique sibling, Evermore takes on the same folk sound."
With a large oval cut sapphire, joined with four marquise cut diamonds, the jeweller adds: "The Este ring would look gorgeous as a set when paired with the Folklore ring."
The Daisy ring - Midnights
Commenting on the design of the Daisy ring, Jessica said: "I may not be able to make the whole place shimmer, but this ring definitely can. Inspired by the night sky and Taylor’s gorgeous deep blue bodysuit during the Midnights section of the Era’s tour.
"This ring has some serious sparkle, with a hexagon cut blue moissanite, surrounded by round brilliant cut lab-grown diamonds, and finished off with marquise cut lab-grown diamonds on the shank for a more eye-catching shimmer."
The Karma ring - Eras Tour
A description of the Karma ring on the Jessica Flinn website reads: "The terrifically talented Ms Swift has delighted her fans once again by announcing her UK Tour. Our very own mega-fan, Charlotte, has designed an entire collection inspired by Taylor's previous and current albums, and they are just what the doctor ordered."
The ring includes the following gemstones: Teal Sapphire, Yellow Sapphire, Amethyst, Garnet, Sky Blue Topaz, Black Diamond, Pink Sapphire, Salt & Pepper Diamond, Champagne Sapphire and Blue Sapphire.
