The New York Jets, under head coach Robert Saleh, have officially been eliminated from playoff contention, marking the tenth consecutive season the team has not made it into the postseason. Known for his insider knowledge and accurate reporting, ESPN's Adam Schefter confirmed the disheartening news for Jets fans.
The Jets have endured a rollercoaster season, showing moments of grit and promise but failing to stay consistent and decisive when it mattered. Rookie quarterback Zach Wilson's season has been a mixed bag, showing potential but also enduring growing pains typical of a first-year player. A slow start, injuries, and lack of experience all combined to contribute to the Jets' disappointing season.
