Among the moves before camp opens up, the Jets places safety Chuck Clark and wide receiver Diontae Spencer on injured reserve Wednesday, ending their seasons, unless they come to an injury settlement.
Clark was acquired from the Ravens back in March to help replace Lamarcus Joyner but he suffered an ACL injury during the offseason program. That led to the Jets signing former Packers safety Adrian Amos.
Spencer’s injury was unclear initially. He was off an on the Jets’ practice squad during the 2022 season after spending time with the Broncos and Rams. He signed a reserve/future contract in January.
