Thanks to the Jets’ video series “Flight 2022” we now know the best moment of the this year’s NFL draft.
In one episode in particular, New York general manager Joe Douglas is featured. The camera stares at him as pass rusher Jermaine Johnson appears to be looking right back at him via the team’s draft board.
Douglas gets anxious, makes phone calls to teams, and finally ends up with his guy at the 26th pick. A beautiful draft day story for the Jets.
The hug with head coach Robert Salah is a nice touch, too.
Check out the clip of Douglas’ reaction to finally landing Johnson below:
Flight 2022: New Heights has been out for one week and we've actually been watching this scene on repeat since.
