The Jets’ search for offensive line upgrades is in full swing this week during the NFL’s legal tampering period for free agency.
New York is among the teams interested in Commanders guard Brandon Scherff, according to The Athletic’s Connor Hughes. They’re also interested in Ravens center Bradley Bozeman, according to Aaron Wilson.
Scherff, 30, is a five-time Pro Bowler who is one of the best zone-blocking guards in the NFL, but he hasn’t played an entire season’s worth of games since 2016 and missed six games this past season. He’d fill a huge hole on the right side of the offensive line.
Bozeman, 27, just finished his first season as the Ravens’ starting center after playing the previous two at left guard. He had a career year, posting a 73.8 Pro Football Focus grade.
