The New York Jets have a winning record for the first time in a while and have become fun to watch for the first time in a while. Coming off their big 40-17 win over the Miami Dolphins in Week 5, the Jets now get the chance for a little bit of national spotlight.
The Jets travel to Lambeau Field for a date with the Green Bay Packers on Sunday and that game will be the Game of the Week on FOX. Their No. 1 broadcast team of Kevin Burkhardt and Greg Olsen will call the game, which kicks off at 1:00 eastern. Chances are this will be one of Burkhardt’s last assignments with the NFL before working the World Series for FOX, which begins October 28.
The full broadcast map will be available later in the week, but the fact that FOX and the NFL are starting to take notice to the Jets truly shows we are in a new era of Jets football and these aren’t the same old Jets.
