Airline and tour operator Jet2 has announced a schedule of almost 120 outbound services to Iceland from across 10 UK bases in Winter 22/23.
It will fly twice-weekly scheduled services to Iceland from Birmingham and Manchester Airports during key times next winter. In addition, the company will also operate a series of dedicated flights and trips to Iceland from Bristol Airport for the first time for those wishing to experience the spectacular Northern Lights.
Flights and trips will also be available with Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks from Belfast International, Edinburgh, East Midlands, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, Manchester, Newcastle and London Stansted Airports.
Scheduled services from Birmingham and Manchester Airports are perfectly timed for those wanting to experience the Northern Lights, with twice-weekly (Monday and Thursday) services operating from both bases from September 29 until November 21 in 2022, and February 9 to April 24 in 2023.
All flights to Keflavík International Airport near Reykjavik will be operated by Jet2.com, and the full programme is as follows:

- Manchester – scheduled services operating every Monday and Thursday from September 29 – November 21, 2022, and February 9 – April 24, 2023.
- Birmingham – scheduled services operating every Monday and Thursday from from September 29 – November 21, 2022, and February 9 – April 24, 2023.
More than 40 trips to Iceland and the Northern Lights from eight other UK bases.
- Bristol – three trips in total, including trips in March and April 2023.
- Newcastle – ten trips in total, with departures in October and November 2022, as well as February, March and April 2023.
- Leeds Bradford – nine trips in total, with departures in October and November 2022, as well as February, March and April 2023.
- East Midlands – seven trips in total, with departures in November 2022, as well as February, March and April 2023.
- Glasgow – five trips in total, including three in October 2022, as well as departures in February and March 2023.
- London Stansted – five trips in total, with departures in October and November 2022, as well as February and March 2023.
- Edinburgh – two trips available, including one in October 2022 and one in March 2023.
- Belfast International – one dedicated four-night trip departing on Thursday September 29.
