Jet2 announces more winter flights from East Midlands Airport to Spain, Turkey, Cyprus and Portugal

Airline Jet2 has announced an expanded package of winter flights from East Midlands Airport for Winter 2023/24, which includes more choice for customers flying to the Mediterranean. The company is offering more than 40 flights per week to destinations from East Midlands Airport including Spain, Majorca, Turkey, Cyprus and Portugal as part of the offer.

The programme includes extra flights to the Canary Islands (Gran Canaria and Lanzarote). The programme will offer multiple weekly, daily and multiple daily services available during winter from early-November through to the end of April. The airline also said flights for ski and winter city breaks from East Midlands Airport will be announced next month.

  • Tenerife (up to nine weekly services)
  • Lanzarote (up to six weekly services)
  • Gran Canaria (up to four weekly services)
  • Fuerteventura (up to three weekly services)
  • Malaga (up to three weekly services)
  • Alicante (up to six weekly services)
  • Palma (up to two weekly services)
  • Antalya (up to two weekly services)
  • Faro (up to three weekly services)
  • Madeira (weekly services)
  • Paphos (up to two weekly services)
  • Malta (weekly services during April)

Steve Heapy, chief executive of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said: “We are seeing strong demand from customers in the Midlands wanting to escape the long British winter by booking their Winter 23/24 holiday nice and early. In response to this demand, we are stepping in by putting our Winter Sun programme on sale from East Midlands Airport.

"We are pleased to have grown our Winter 23/24 Sun programme to the Canary Islands and Portugal from the base for Winter 23/24, on top of offering a fantastic selection of other Winter Sun destinations. With more customers than ever wanting to give themselves something to look forward to next year, we have no doubt that these hotspots will be extremely popular with both customers and independent travel agents in the region."
