Tour operator Jet 2 has announced a programme of flights and package deals allowing holidaymakers to fly from Newcastle to Iceland.
Jet2 will run 10 dedicated trips from Newcastle to Keflavík International Airport between October 2022 and April 2023.
Customers can choose from flight-only and package deals.

Jet 2 says: "Whether it is the cityscape of Reykjavik, the spectacular Northern Lights, or the stunning Golden Circle and its geothermal lagoons, spas and waterfalls, Iceland offers an incredible variety of things for customers to experience and see.
"Customers travelling from Newcastle Airport can choose from ten dedicated trips, operating at the best times for those wishing to experience the spectacular Northern Lights. Customers can choose from a series of three-night trips departing on a Monday or four-night trips departing on a Thursday,"
Package trips are available to secure now for a £60 per person deposit.
