Customers travelling from Edinburgh Airport can choose from two dedicated trips, operating at the best times for those wishing to experience the spectacular Northern Lights.
Those wishing to jet off later in the year, or in 2023, can book a 'flight only' trip or a holiday package.
Jet2.com will run two trips from Edinburgh Airport and all flights to Keflavík International Airport near Reykjavik will be operated by Jet2.com.
Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said: “Iceland is a destination that has continued to see strong demand, so we are delighted to be launching this fantastic Winter 22/23 programme from Edinburgh Airport.
"Thanks to this great programme of once-in-a-lifetime trips, we are giving customers and independent travel agents brilliant choice and flexibility.
"The unrivalled natural wonders of Iceland are making it a firm favourite with our customers, and the choice of award-winning flights and breaks through Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks, means we are looking ahead to a very busy programme next winter”.
Entry requirement for Iceland
At the time of writing, Iceland is accepting people from the UK if they can provide 'adequate' proof of vaccination or recovery.
Those visiting Iceland that have no family connections there must present a negative PCR or negative antigen rapid test taken within 72 hours of your time of departure to Iceland (or get a ISK 100,000 fine for residents or a refusal of entry for visitors).
Self-tests are not accepted.
