Jesy Nelson stuns in neon yellow bikini as she extends LA break during Little Mix tour

Jesy Nelson is making the most of the sunny weather in Los Angeles - posing in a skimpy neon yellow bikini as she extends her break across the pond.

The former Little Mix singer, 30, is enjoying a stay in the Southern California city while she works on material for her long-awaited debut solo album.

As Jesy soaks up the sun, on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean her former bandmates are currently touring arenas across the United Kingdom - as the trio prepare is disband and go on a hiatus after their Confetti tour wraps up in May.

Some concert-goers have spotted Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall making 'subtle digs' towards their former bandmate on stage, but posing in the sun on Friday, Jesy seemed unbothered by any potential shade.

"TAKE THIS [water emoji] AND HYDRATE BITCH," the Boyz singer captioned the Instagram snaps of herself sipping on a can on Diet Coke while rocking a striking two-piece.

Flashing some under-boob and her toned abs to her 8.6million followers, the former X Factor star appeared laidback and carefree as she posed in a neon yellow skimpy bikini, sky-high Perspex heels and matching micro-mini wrap skirt.

In a couple of the images, the Romford-born star took to the water with a inflatable unicorn swim ring - seemingly called Sally - to add a bit of variety to the photoshoot.

"I thought I told u not to ride Sally with your heels on…," L.A based songwriter Tally Bad commented on the update.

Jesy simply replied to the self-described "professional melody translator" with a laughing-face emoji.

The aspiring solo artist's sexy shoot comes after ex-bandmates have been cracking on with their farewell tour - seemingly editing Jesy out of certain swan song tributes.

Jesy walked away from Little Mix in December 2020, citing mental health reasons, nine years on from the band becoming the first group to win The Factor.

Since the seemingly amicable split, things have turned a little frostier over recent months - with a blackfishing row and admissions on both sides that the remaining Little Mix trio and Jesy no long speak.

Taking to the stage in Belfast earlier this week, Jade, Leigh-Anne and Perrie were keen to let their fans know their planned hiatus is not a split - with the words “Little Mix 2011 - Forever” was featured prominently on giant screens in the SS Arena.

"We wouldn’t have got where we are today if it wasn’t for the love we have for each other. We have been through absolutely everything together," mum-of-twins Leigh-Anne emotionally told the crowd.

"We have cried together. We have laughed together. We have seen each other naked. We really are the best of friends," she continued.

"We are family now and that is going to remain for ever and ever, no matter what."

Fans went on to notice how the lyrics to their track Gloves Up - one of their last songs recorded as a foursome - were changed to omit references to Jesy.

The track - from their sixth studio album Confetti - originally featured the words "legend of the four divas", but instead, Leigh-Anne belted out "legend of the three divas".
