Jesy Nelson has vowed to get a tattoo picked by one of her fans after asking for ideas for a bit of new ink.
The former Little Mix star, 31, took to Instagram to share the strange request with her 9.2million followers. She penned: "Hello my angels I’m getting some new tattoos next week and I really want you guys to be a part of it!
"Send me your ideas and whatever one I love the most I’ll get it tatted on me."
She followed up the request on her Instagram Stories and showcased some of the ideas she had already been sent. Among those Jesy shared were an angel and a quote which read "You’re not born to be perfect. You’re born to be YOU".
Other suggestions included getting a design of their own face on her body, while a more serious idea included the title of her album.
Jesy has a number of tattoos already, including a tribute to her Nanna, which she showed off last year. The marking in tribute to the family member she was "obsessed" with is placed on her arm.
It is situated between her rose ink, "baby girl" design and a tribute to her "Nanny Ginge". The all red tattoo says: "Love conquers all".
At the time, she told her followers she was "literally obsessed" with the ink and shared the designer's social media page.
The request for designs comes shortly after reports the musician was about to sign a new record deal.
Jesy is said to be ready to sign with Warner Records as she gets ready to release her second single titled Cried Out. The tune comes over a year after her debut single titled Boyz came out.
The potential deal will see her pair with a new company after she parted with Polydor in July 2021, citing creative differences as the sticking point.
A source told The Sun: "It has been a tumultuous few months for Jesy but she is working hard to come back with a bang.
"She has had meetings with labels, including Warner, about the possibility of signing a new deal."
The insider claimed labels will keep a close eye on the fan reaction to her next song and confessed Jesy is loving being independent.
However, they added: "But she has made it clear that if someone offers her the right deal, she will take it."
