Jesy Nelson car stolen with hospital equipment for twin daughters; singer offers £10,000 reward

Former Little Mix singer Jesy Nelson has appealed for help after her car was stolen from outside her home in Brentwood, Essex, in the early hours of Sunday.

The 34-year-old said the black vehicle was taken around 3am and contained essential hospital equipment used for her twin daughters. She has offered a £10,000 reward for information leading to its recovery.

Nelson shared details on social media, requesting that anyone with information contact the police or message her directly. She also provided the vehicle’s registration number while appealing for urgent help.

Medical equipment for twins inside vehicle

Nelson said the stolen car contained important medical equipment needed for her daughters, Ocean Jade and Story Monroe, who have been diagnosed with spinal muscular atrophy (SMA), a rare genetic condition that causes progressive muscle weakness.

She said the equipment was “really needed,” highlighting the urgency of recovering the vehicle.

Nelson has been actively campaigning for earlier newborn screening for SMA in the UK after her daughters’ diagnosis. She has previously launched a petition and met health officials to push for early detection measures.

Her advocacy has drawn significant public attention, with more than 100,000 signatures supporting her campaign.

Essex Police said they were unable to comment on the suspected theft at this stage. The investigation is currently underway.
