FAQs
How much does Jessops charge for shipping?
Jessops no longer offers free shipping as standard, with charges depending on how much you spend and where your order is shipping to. For orders to the UK mainland, you'll be charged £4.49 if you spend less than £50, or £2.99 if you spend more. Orders to the Channel Islands, Isle of Man & Isle of Wight will cost you £15. All orders are shipped via DPD and should arrive in 3 - 5 working days, with tracking details sent once your order ships.
Does Jessops run a trade-in scheme?
Yes, Jessops does offer a trade-in service that allows customers to hand over old cameras, lenses & accessories. Customers will have the choice of cash payments or putting the value of their item towards a part exchange for a new device.
To get started, just provide some details on your item and its condition through the form on the brand's website and you'll receive a quote. If you're happy with the price offered, accept and you'll have the choice of bringing your item to your nearest store or organising a free collection.
How can I return an order to Jessops?
You can send items back to Jessops for whatever reason within 14 days of receiving your order. Just contact the brand to receive an RMA, then send your items to their HQ or take them into one of their stores. Note that unless your item is faulty, you will be expected to arrange and pay for your own returns shipping, and custom orders are not eligible for returns.
To qualify for a full refund items must arrive back with the brand in their original and re-saleable condition, packaged with the original packaging and all originally included documentation and accessories (all of which must also be completely undamaged). Deductions may be made from your refund total if these conditions are not met.
Jessops Saving tips
Shop during the holidays
You'll see a number of Jessops deals running throughout the year, but the brand generally saves the biggest selection for the holidays, with major savings usually up for grabs around the likes of Black Friday, Cyber Monday and Christmas.
Here at TechRadar, we keep a close eye on what the store offers year-round, and we've previously seen holiday sales discount selected products by as much as £700. We always add new deals to this listing whenever we find them, so make sure to come back to this page around these times of year to bag the latest bargains.
Check clearance deals
If you don't need the latest models, you can pick up devices at significant discounts by shopping the Jessops clearance section. Items sold here won't be cutting edge gadgets packed with all the latest features, but they're still brand new, and what's more, the store tends to offer up to 35% off the usual price. Make sure to bag these deals sooner rather than later, though - these models are usually the last of stock the brand is hoping to shift, so once the stock sells, the deals are gone for good.
Buy used gear
If you don't mind buying second-hand, you can also save on your cameras and accessories by buying one from Jessops' used gear range. Items here are returned of refurbished products that have been tested to ensure they function, and are usually sold at prices up to 40% lower than you'd pay buying new.
Although you may see some minor cosmetic blemishes, the brand guarantees a good quality product, and even includes a 12-month warranty to protect you against faults and defects so you know you're not compromising on quality.
Get a price match
If you can't get a deal on the model you want, but you've seen another retailer selling it for less, you may be able to get it price matched by getting in touch with the Jessops team. The store offers price match on a number of nationwide retailers that sell direct to consumers across the UK, including Argos, Currys PC World, Park Cameras and WEX. You can also submit requests for the brand to review prices from other companies, so long as they sell UK stock directly. to customers across the UK
To qualify for a price match, items need to be like-for-like in every sense (such as brand, model and variant); currently in stock with both Jessops and the competitor; and not subject to promotions or limited availability. Price match will also not be offered in conjunction with any other deals or sales prices.

How we source voucher codes
At TechRadar, we have a number of tools at our disposal to help us find the latest voucher codes. Our Vouchers team uses connections with big name brands, our affiliate networks, and the world wide web to source the latest & best codes for our pages. Each page is updated multiple times a week with sales info, exclusive codes negotiated by our Commercial team, and a number of ways to save on your next online order.
How we test voucher codes
Every code listed on TechRadar is tested before it’s added to our pages by our Vouchers team. We include a range of offers including student discounts, sale prices, free shipping, & more across a number of categories of products & services. Each code is checked to ensure it is accepted at the checkout, and you won’t find any one-time use or user-specific codes.
The expiry date and any terms & conditions of each code are also displayed on the page, next to or below the ‘Get Code’ button, for added clarity. Click the text that reads ‘Terms & Conditions’ to expand the corresponding area, where you can read more about any requirements your order will need to meet in order for your chosen coupon to be accepted.
What to do if a voucher code doesn’t work
We take the utmost care to verify every code before it’s uploaded, and include as much relevant information as we can find to make using our codes as straightforward as possible. However, sometimes codes expire or are amended before we’re able to refresh our pages, and codes may not work as intended.
Should you experience any issues, it’s always best to start by checking the terms & conditions on the page. Click “View terms and conditions” and the code area will expand. You’ll see all applicable criteria listed in this area. For example, you may not meet a required minimum spend (i.e. spend £20 or more); you may not have enough times in your basket (e.g. you have only selected 2 products when trying to redeem a 3 for 2 multibuy offer), or your chosen offer may only apply to a certain type of product (i.e. 10% off laptops).
If issues persist once you’ve checked that you’ve met any necessary requirements, you can get in touch with our support team by emailing coupons.techradar@futurenet.com. Please provide as much detail about your issue as possible - including which code you used and where you found it - and we’ll be in touch to provide support as soon as we can.
How we make money
All the money TechRadar makes through its voucher pages is earned through a commission-based model. We have deals in place with every retailer that has a voucher page on our site, and every time someone makes a purchase using one of our codes, we earn a percentage of the total basket value back in commission.
Thanks to this model, we can offer all of our codes & discounts completely free of charge. You’ll never be asked to pay a fee to redeem an offer on our site - all you’ll pay is the discounted price of the products or services you’ve chosen to buy.
If you want to find out more about TechRadar’s voucher pages, you can visit our dedicated page on How We Source Voucher Codes and How to Use Them for more information.
