Singer and former The Voice judge Jessie J has announced she is pregnant. She said she felt "happy and terrified" to share the news, which comes a year after she suffered a miscarriage.
Jessie, whose hits include Price Tag and Do It Like a Dude, made the announcement on Instagram where she posted a video montage of her journey so far. The footage included a positive pregnancy test as well as Jessie posing with her baby bump, The Mirror reports.
She wrote: "I am so happy and terrified to finally share this. Please be gentle with me."
Jessie, 34, added: "Honestly, ya girl just wants to ugly cry in public in a catsuit eating a chocolate covered pickle with no questions asked."
Her post was met with many messages of congratulation, including from Loose Women panellist and former X Factor star Stacey Solomon, who is also expecting a child. "Oh Jessie I’m so happy for you. Love you," said Stacey.
Home cleaning influencer Mrs Hinch said: "Omg I am so so so happy for you, for this beautiful moment."
Brenda Edwards, another Loose Women panellist and former X Factor performer, wrote: "So over the moon about this news can’t wait to meet little bubba love you."
Jessie revealed she had suffered a miscarriage in November 2021. In an interview with Dragon's Den star Steven Bartlett last year, she said: "I felt like I’d been given everything I’d ever wanted and then someone had gone, “but you can’t have it”."
