Jessica Morgan has been named the new director of the Tate (Gabriela Herman/Tate/PA) -

Jessica Morgan has been named the new chief of the Tate, marking her return to the arts organisation after more than a decade.

The 57-year-old will succeed Maria Balshaw in the role, who became the first female director of the Tate in 2017.
