Leeds United head coach Jesse Marsch has revealed that even his wife has questioned him on his celebration after Crysencio Summerville's winning goal at Anfield. Summerville scored his second goal in as many matches to bring Leeds' eight-match winless run to an end and become the first team to win away at Liverpool in over 18 months.
Marsch is never usually one to hide his emotions on the touchline during matches, particularly when he sees his side score. But after all the speculation surrounding his future in the week leading up to Liverpool, Summerville's 89th-minute strike is arguably the most important scored so far this season.
Marsch wrote on his Instagram on Sunday: "A lot was said before yesterday’s game but the commitment of the squad has never faltered and yesterday was the reward for weeks of hard work. We know we’re not perfect and we’ve got work to do but we love this team and this club and we’ll keep pushing."

In response to his post, a Leeds fan then asked: 'Talk to us about that celebration Jesse lad.' Marsch then replied: 'Honestly I have no idea. My wife has been asking me since the match what is wrong with me!?!'
With all the bedlam going on behind him, and to describe his celebration as closely as possible, Marsch then proceeded to walk along the touchline with his left arm aloft and his right swinging around frantically. It was certainly unique, but Leeds fans won't mind seeing it again.
