Jesse Marsch knows the last few weeks have been far from good enough at Leeds United. The Whites have picked up just two points from their last eight games and with the World Cup break approaching, they find themselves involved in a relegation scrap at the foot of the Premier League table.
Sunday’s 3-2 loss to Fulham at Elland Road saw the Whites drop into the bottom three for the first time this season as Bobby Decordova-Reid and Willian combined to compound Leeds’ misery. As such, for the second match running, many supporters chose to make their frustrations known both during and after the game.
Marsch was quick to point the finger of blame at himself after the game and he knows Leeds have their work cut out over the next three weeks if they are to stop the rot. The Whites travel to Liverpool on Saturday night before games against Bournemouth and Tottenham Hotspur complete the action before the World Cup in Qatar.
