Paul Robinson is 'disappointed' that Leeds United didn't sack Jesse Marsch earlier and replace him with current Everton manager Sean Dyche.
Leeds are without a win in the Premier League since before the World Cup break, and have only registered victories over Cardiff City and Accrington Stanley respectively in the FA Cup during that time frame.
A 1-0 defeat at Nottingham Forest left the Leeds board with little option but to sack Marsch, with the Whites only separated by the relegation zone on goal difference.
Former Leeds goalkeeper Robinson believes the board should've acted sooner and appointed Sean Dyche prior to his move to Everton last month.

Dyche marked his Everton debut with a shock 1-0 victory over Premier League leaders Arsenal last Saturday.
"Not surprised, not disappointed," Robinson told Sky Sports. "He was given enough time. It was right to make the change, I am just disappointed that it wasn't earlier because I really think we've missed a trick with Sean Dyche.
"They need somebody to come in and have an immediate impact, as in a man manager who can get the best out of the squad that he has been given. Quite honestly, looking at the situation, before the World Cup, there was a week where they beat Liverpool away.
"Then it was Bournemouth at home. They conceded three goals at home and comeback to win that game 4-3. So that was two games in a week that probably kept him in his job and they haven't won since.
"That was November 5. Yes, you have to take the World Cup into account. Performances have been ok sporadically during games but not consistently for the length of games.
"The FA Cup run probably kept him in his job this long. The way he sets his team up too narrow, pressing from a narrow base, too exposed."
