Leeds United will make a decision regarding Joe Gelhardt's immediate future in the coming weeks after the Whites striker was linked with a loan move to the Championship. Blackburn Rovers and Sunderland are among a number of Championship clubs interested in a move for the 20-year-old.
Gelhardt has been on the fringes of the Leeds first team this season, making 15 appearances in the top flight, but is yet to score in the Premier League this term. The young forward has outgrown the Under-21s set-up, with the Whites youngsters second in Premier League 2 Division 2 after back-to-back defeats.
Jesse Marsch says he's held talks with the youngster and will make a decision on what's best for him in the long-run, in the coming weeks. Sunderland are looking to bolster their attacking options after Ellis Simms was recalled by Everton and Blackburn boss Jon Dahl Tomasson is keen on bringing in a striker to strengthen his side's promotion push.

Marsch said: "I think there's been some internal discussions and we'll make some decisions in the next coming weeks. In general, his attitude has been great.
"We've had some good conversations and I think everyone is open to different possibilities. You're right, we do have a lot of really good attacking options.
"Even Luis [Sinisterra] after training yesterday, when we talked, I talked to him about how he was feeling, he mentioned to me 'Wow, we have some really good players now.'
"Luis is certainly one of them. He looked fantastic and fit. Joffy has looked great, his attitude has been fantastic and he'll be ready for tomorrow."
