Former Leeds United striker Jermaine Beckford has sent a warning to his former side's youth talent, saying that they 'must take their opportunities' given to them by head coach Jesse Marsch.
Players like Sam Greenwood, Crysencio Summerville and Wilfried Gnonto have been instrumental in the Whites' recent performances but Beckford has warned that they must continue their form if they want more opportunities.
With injuries to usual regulars like Patrick Bamford and Luis Sinisterra, it's been easier for the young talent to get consistent minutes but that could change after the World Cup break.

Speaking on the Official Leeds Utd Podcast, Beckford admitted that while the young players have certainly had great performances so far this season, he noted that they need to keep up that form.
"Yeah, I think he's [Sam Greenwood] definitely got a point to prove. He looked like he was playing with a point to prove definitely. You look at the last performance that he had - it wasn't terrible but it was a while ago.
"He wants to play, he wants to start every game, he wants to kick on as well. I know you could say the same for [Crysencio] Summerville, you could say the same for Willy [Wilfried] Gnonto, you could say the same for any of the young players.
"They see themselves as a major part of this team and rightly so but just because you see yourself as a major part, it doesn't mean you're going to get that opportunity. And if you do get that opportunity, it means you have to take it.
"The way we finished the game, the last 30, 35 minutes, they were unbelievable. Now, if we'd started the game in that manner, it's arguable to say we could've gone in at halftime three, maybe four nil up."
