Jermaine Baker: Mother of Black man shot dead by Met Police ‘cannot understand’ lawful killing verdict

The mother of an unarmed Black man who was shot dead in a botched police operation to prevent a prison break has said his life was “taken for no good reason”.

Jermaine Baker, 28, was killed by a Metropolitan Police officer in December 2015, while in a car waiting to spring a criminal associate from a prison van.
