Jeremy Renner has shared a loving tribute to his daughter on her 10th birthday as he said he is "stronger than before" because of her.
The Marvel star, 52, took to Instagram on Tuesday to wish Ava Berlin a happy birthday and thank her for helping him to heal "incredibly fast" following his terrifying snow plough accident.
Jeremy was rushed to hospital and almost died after being crushed by the vehicle outside his home in Nevada on New Year's Day.
He had been attempting to save his nephew from being crushed and sustained blunt chest trauma, orthopaedic injuries and broke more than 30 bones in the accident.
Taking to social media, the actor shared a sweet snap of his daughter and wrote: "Happy 10th Birthday to you!!!! So very proud of you in every way.
"Your hugs and your love, have healed me so incredibly fast. I stand up for you, and I am stronger than before because of you. I am your Father, I am your protector, and I am only yours. I love you, Daddy."
Ava celebrated her birthday with Harold and Brittany Perrineau's daughter Holiday Perrineau.
Harold took to Twitter to share a video from the party, with fans wishing the girls a happy birthday.
"Wow what a party. Happy early birthday Ava your proud dad’s smile says it all so proud of his beautiful daughter.
"To you Jeremy so good to see that Mile long smile and the joy it brings to give Ava a full on circus party, congratulations on the wonderful memories you are making," one fan commented.
Another person wrote: "How beautiful! Congratulations Ava may God grant you many years of life. I was happy to see Jeremy smiling."
"This party looks awesome! Glad to see Jeremy getting some sunshine too," a third fan gushed.
