Jeremy Paxman’s best moments on University Challenge as he steps down

Jeremy Paxman presented his final University Challenge episode on Monday night (May 29) after almost 30 years at the helm.

The broadcaster, well known for his cut-throat approach to political interviews, had been hosting the quiz since the BBC revived it in 1994. Monday’s show was his 967th and final appearance as he steps down. He had announced he had Parkinson’s disease in 2021.
