Carol Vorderman has slammed Jeremy Clarkson after he revealed he fantasises about people "throwing excrement" at Meghan Markle after watching the Sussex's Netflix series.

The former Top Gear presenter, 62, wrote in a his column for The Sun that he wants the Duchess of Sussex to be "paraded naked through the streets" where he "dreams of people throwing lumps of excrement at her".

He added, "Everyone who’s my age thinks the same way", a generalisation which, along with the explicit misogyny of his statement, riled up maths-whizz Carol - who turns 62 next week.
