When former Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson's turned to farming, his army of fans tuned in to the show that followed his progress and Diddly Squat Farm was on the map. The broadcaster has now had to issue a warning to those venturing out to the farm along with an apology.
The former Repton School pupil and Clarkson's Farm star was forced to take to Twitter as the continued success of the venture became apparent. He issued a statement to fans on Sunday, February 19, saying that the farm was "really busy" and that there was currently nowhere "proper" to park. He added that they were dealing with it as fast as they can.
In the social media he wrote: "It’s really busy at the farm shop today and I’m sorry we can’t provide proper car parking. Until we can, the local police, who are very great and much on our side btw, do ask that people don’t park on the main road."

In another reply on his Twitter page, reported by Yorkshire Live, he said that they were "opening fields as fast as they can" so that customers can park there in order to get to the farm shop.
It comes as the Grand Tour presenter issued a response after he found himself in hot water for a comment he made about a lawyer. A clip included on the latest series of Clarkson's Farm, shows the 62-year-old walking out of a council meeting during which planning permission for his Diddly Squat farm extension was discussed. Jeremy can then be heard telling the barrister, who was representing the council, that he "should learn to spell".
After the episode aired, lawyer in question, Charles Streeten, wrote an open letter to say he hadn't expected the remark to feature in the programme. He went on to say it wasn't the first time he had heard the phrase, the Mirror reports.
In case you are thinking of taking a visit to the shop on another occasion, it can be found at 5-12 Chipping Norton Lane, Chadlington, Chipping Norton, OX7 3PE. On the farm, you can find both the Diddly Squat Farm Shop and The Big View café.
