Jeremy Clarkson has tweeted out his traditional 'humblebrag' as students collect their A-level results today (Thursday August 18).
Every year, the TV presenter tells social media that he didn't do great in his A-levels - but he has still gone on to have success. This year, the Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? host shared: "Don’t worry if your A level results are disappointing. I got a C and 2 Us and I’m currently holidaying on this boat."
The tweet was accompanied by a photo of Clarkson's view from a boat, with clear blue sea and mountains in the background. So far, the post has racked up almost 50,000 likes on Twitter.

Social media users were quick to respond, with @MortyMark tweeting: "It's not A level results day till Clarkson tweets" alongside a laughing face emoji, while @Truetoaesir joked: "It's like Christmas".
"Jeremy Clarkson’s A-Level Tweet is my favourite annual event" gushed @kt_isab, while @Seunography said: "What kills me is I genuinely never ever see this man on my timeline. However I can rest assured that every single results day, he will be back with another one".
Clarkson's tweeting on A-level results day began in 2015, when he posted: "If your A-level results aren't great, be cheered by the fact that I got a C and two Us. And I'm currently sitting in a villa in St Tropez." Continuing the theme, in 2016, he tweeted: "If your A level results are disappointing, don't worry. I got a C and two Us, and I'm currently on a superyacht in the Med."
In 2020, he tweeted: "A level results not great? Don’t worry, I got a C and 2 Us and I’m currently building a large house with far reaching views of the Cotswolds." Last year, he shared: "If the teachers didn’t give you the A level results you were hoping for, don’t worry. I got a C and 2Us and I’ve ended up happy, with loads of friends and a Bentley."
Clarkson made his millions by becoming a household name on Top Gear before landing a deal with Amazon Prime for the Grand Tour, along with presenters Richard Hammond and James May.
