Liverpool are ‘on the verge’ of signing Bayer Leverkusen star Jeremie Frimpong as a potential replacement for Trent Alexander-Arnold.

That is according to a report from Defensa Central, who claim Liverpool plan to bring Frimpong to Anfield in a deal that could be worth around £30million.
