Queer Eye is set to begin production on Season 9, with a notable change in the lineup as interior designer Bobby Berk will not be returning for the upcoming season. Bobby, who has been a key member of the show since its reboot in 2018, announced his departure after Season 8, which was released last month.
Netflix recently revealed that Jeremiah Brent will be joining Karamo Brown, Tan France, Antoni Porowski, and Jonathan Van Ness as the fifth host for Season 9. Jeremiah is a familiar face in the world of television, having previously starred alongside his husband Nate Berkus on the TLC series, Nate & Jeremiah by Design, which aired for three seasons. The couple also appeared together on HGTV's The Nate and Jeremiah Home Project for two seasons starting in 2021.
Jeremiah has further showcased his design expertise as the design expert on Netflix's wedding reality show, Say I Do, in 2020. He also runs his own design studio and lifestyle brand, Atrio.
Season 9 of Queer Eye will be based in Las Vegas, as announced by Netflix in a press release. The premiere date for the new season has not yet been disclosed.
