Jenny Dixon has shared a heartwarming video as her babies finally returned home from hospital this week.
The actress, known for her stint as Kerri-Ann Bishop on Fair City, welcomed her twin daughters into the world with husband and former Fine Gael TD Tom Neville. Jenny had spoken openly in the past about her fertility struggles and her conception via IVF.
Bella and Capri weighed just 4 pounds at birth and required care in the Rotunda's neonatal unit for over a month. However, doctors finally given the green light this week for the pair to return home with their loving parents.
Jenny wrote on Instagram: "Homecoming. Worth the wait. A million thanks to the superstars who looked after our little princesses and everyone who's been a part of our journey. Welcome home baby girls."
The twins were born in late February after Jenny underwent a C section. She previously thanked Professor Jennifer Donnelly and the team of midwives and staff at Rotunda Hospital for their assistance during the birth.
Familiar faces congratulated Jenny after she shared the touching video online. They wished the family of four every success in the future.
Presenter Lucy Kennedy wrote: "Guys! So happy for the four of you. Enjoy every single second. Pure love."
Another person wrote: "I am so happy for you and Tom. What an amazing Easter present to have your girls coming home."
