Jennifer Lopez has vowed to wear her iconic green Versace dress again in 20 years time.
The 56-year-old singer/actress first wore the gown at the 2000 Grammys before sporting a reimagined version at a Versace fashion show in 2019. She's now revealed she still has both versions of the dress and promised to get back into it once again when she's 76.
During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, she said: "I have both dresses ... If anybody remembers, I wore the [original] one to the Grammys [in 2000] and then about five years ago, we did the 20th anniversary [runway show], and I have that dress. She [Donatella Versace] made a brand new dress for me. So I have both of them."
Jimmy then said: "You have to do that every 20 years" and Jennifer went on to say: "I'm gonna make a promise right now. I'm gonna wear it in 20 years. And it's gonna look good. You're not gonna hate it."
Jennifer talked about the dress after seeing it referenced on Amazon Prime Video series Off Campus when Mika Abdalla's character dresses up as the pop star and dances to her song On The Floor at a Halloween party.
Speaking about the show, she said: "It was huge. I just found out because ... my team they called me and they were like: 'On The Floor has entered the charts for the first time in 15 years'. I was like: 'What?' It was just out of the blue ... "
Jimmy went on to ask the star if she has a "museum" in her home where she keeps all her famous dresses and Jennifer admitted she doesn't have an "archive" but she does keep a lot of her prized outfits in boxes in her garage.
