In a recent turn of events, a clip resurfaced from Ayo Edebiri's 2020 appearance on the Scam Goddess podcast, where the actor made some critical remarks about Jennifer Lopez's music career. The clip went viral just days before both Ayo and Jennifer were set to appear on the same episode of Saturday Night Live. However, Jennifer has since opened up about her reaction to Ayo's comments.
In the podcast clip, Ayo expressed their thoughts, saying, 'J.Lo's whole career is one long scam,' specifically referencing her upcoming Super Bowl Halftime Show performance and offering some critiques about her music career. Acknowledging these remarks, Ayo addressed the issue during their SNL appearance in a sketch that involved explaining and taking responsibility for their past comments online. Ayo admitted their mistake, recognizing the impact of careless remarks and emphasizing the need for thoughtfulness when posting online.
