Jennifer Lopez is currently in New York filming her latest movie, a feature adaptation of the 1993 Broadway musical 'Kiss of the Spider Woman.' The film, set in an Argentinian prison in 1981, follows a storyline where a fantasy woman, portrayed by Lopez, is created by an inmate serving an eight-year sentence. The movie is being written and directed by Bill Condon, known for his work on the 2006 film 'Dreamgirls.'
During her time in New York, Lopez has been enjoying the city's vibrant theater scene. She was spotted attending various Broadway musicals, including 'Merrily We Roll Along' and 'The Outsiders.' Additionally, she was seen shooting scenes for her new film at Elysian Café in Hoboken, New Jersey.
Lopez, who expressed her love for being back in New York, was accompanied by her husband, Ben Affleck, during some of these outings. The couple was seen boarding a helicopter to attend a show after having lunch at a country club in Columbia County, New York.
Aside from her professional commitments, Lopez has been actively engaging with her fans on social media, sharing moments from her theater visits and time spent with her children. The Grammy-winning artist is a mother to twins, Emme and Max, and also a stepmother to Affleck's three children.
