Jennifer Lopez has confirmed her engagement to Ben Affleck.
The 52-year-old singer teased fans of a “major announcement” on her official Facebook page last night.
A clip alongside the post urged fans to sign up to her newsletter for a longer video announcing her engagement to the 49-year-old film star.
JLo was visibly emotional in the video and struggled to fight back her tears of joy, the Mirror reports.
She also wore an impressive green diamond ring in the clip, and declared: “You’re perfect.”
It is the second time that the A-list couple have been engaged.
The pair originally dated in 2002 before announcing their engagement a year later.
However, the pair split in 2004 amid increasingly intrusive and pressurised press attention.
Rumours were circulating that ‘Bennifer’ were going to announce their engagement once again, after JLo was spotted out and about with a huge ring on her wedding finger earlier this week.
Sources close to Lopez told PageSix they “wouldn’t be shocked if [Ben] had proposed again.”
Following their divorce in 2004, Jennifer went on to date and ultimately marry the singer Marc Anthony with whom she welcomed twins Emme and Maximilian – now aged 14.
JLo and 53-year-old Marc split in 2014 – and she went on to enjoy a high-profile romance with baseball icon Alex Rodriguez, 46, from 2017.
The couple became engaged in March 2019 – but they never made it down the aisle as they broke up and the romance ended in April 2021.
Ben went on to marry actress Jennifer Garner, 49, in 2005 and together they welcomed daughter Violet, 16, and Seraphina, 13, and a 10-year-old son named Samuel.
Ben and Jennifer Garner broke up and had their divorce finalised in 2018.
He went on to date the actress Ana de Armas, whom he met on the set of Deep Water, from 2020 until early 2021.
But Ben and JLo recoupled in April last year as they both found themselves single – and now it appears the romance is set to last forever once they finally swap vows.
