Jennifer Aniston has sparked rumours that she's back with her ex-husband, Justin Theroux, after the pair were spotted out for dinner with one another on Friday.
Friends icon Jennifer, 53, was snapped by an eagle-eyed fan at a table with her ex-husband and some friends four years after their marriage split.
The actress and her ex-husband were joined by a selection of celebrity pals including Howard Stern, his wife Beth, Jason Bateman, Jon Hamm and Jimmy Kimmel, as they sat down to enjoy a lavish meal at Laser Wolf in Brooklyn, New York City.
Following the breakdown of their marriage, Jennifer and Justin have remained close, but their latest appearance together has fans hoping that there will be another romance for the pair.
The dinner photo, which has now gone viral on social media, sees Justin sitting alongside an unknown woman, while Jen was seated beside Justin's pal.
As the snap continues to circulate on social media, eagle-eyed fans have shared their thoughts on Twitter.
"Jen and Justin out to dinner together!!!! Either they're just really good friends or else they still love one another," one hopeful fan penned.
"If Jen gets back with Justin that would be the best thing to happen in 2022," another gushed.
"This woman deserves all the happiness in the world," someone else swooned.
While a fourth insisted: "OMG! They are just friends!! Ya'll need to stop with this."
Jen and Justin tied the knot at a gorgeous private ceremony on August 5, 2015.
The understated wedding, which took place at the couple's Bel Air home, saw a handful of friends and family watch the love birds say their vows.
Their marriage came after a three-year engagement and blossoming romance that all of Hollywood had their eyes on.
However, just over two years later the couple quickly parted ways amid reportedly amicable circumstances that saw them remain friends.
After Jennifer's dramatic split from husband Brad Pitt, fans were rooting for the Friends actress when she met fellow actor Justin in 2007.
Although it is unclear when the couple's romance became official, by 2011 the lovebirds had reportedly moved in together and their relationship seemed to go from strength to strength.
However, to some insiders, their relationship was marred by incompatibility.
A source revealed to E! News that the couple were so in love that they didn't spot their differences at the start.
“Jennifer and Justin fell in love hard and fast and yet they were never really suited to one another. He was a New York hipster that loved the alternative lifestyle and Jennifer was living a much more reclusive life when they first started to fall in love,” the insider said.
“The initial chemistry between them made it easy for them to ignore their differences and incompatibility.”
By August 2012, Justin proposed to Jen on his birthday before going on to tie the knot three years later surrounded by close pals, including Friends stars Courtenay Cox and Lisa Kudrow.
Although throughout their brief marriage, the couple shared plenty of gushing pictures on social media and praised each other publicly, other hurdles appear to have cropped up behind the scenes.
According to ET, while Jennifer preferred living in Los Angeles, her husband much preferred the east coast and that also proved difficult.
And then, a day after Valentine's Day in 2018, Jen and Justin broke some hearts by confirming their split officially.
They said at the time: "In an effort to reduce any further speculation, we have decided to announce our separation. This decision was mutual and lovingly made at the end of last year.
"We are two best friends who have decided to part ways as a couple but look forward to continuing our cherished friendship."
Although the very public nature of their split, Justin and Jen maintained that they were friends and their split was amicable in the months that followed.
