Jenna Dewan has wowed her Instagram followers on Saturday with a rare photo of her eight-year old daughter, Everly, looking grown up sporting pink streaky hair.
The 41-year-old actress shared the image of Everly – who she with her ex-husband, Channing Tatum – to Instagram Stories, with her daughter wearing a white dress with blue, green and purple flowers.
Jenna captioned the mother-daughter moment: "And it's begun.... wearing my clothes" – while several further photos showed the pair relaxing in the pool with Jenna's fiancé Steve Kazee and their son, Callum.
Jenna captioned the photoset: "Summer preview."
When Jenna and Channing were together they occasionally shared pictures of Everly, but were reluctant to show her face.
Actor Channing, 42, still stands by that, however, so Jenna's actions are likely to cause some friction.
The former couple never specifically revealed why they wouldn't share photos of Everly publicly, but it is understood they were keen to shield her from living in the public eye.
Many of Jenna's 7.6 million folowers on the social media platform were clearly excited to see a glimpse of Evelyn with user commenting: "Your daughter has such pretty eyes."
Another added: "Evie looks so much like you!"
Other replies included: "Evie's eyes are gorgeous, such a beautiful family," and "I love it! Keep making these beautiful memories with your family! The kids are only this age once and then time flies."
Since their divorce in 2018, Jenna and Channing have been locked in a messy battle for custody.
Jenna alleged actor Channing "broke lockdown rules" after an insider claimed they started fighting after Channing's 40th birthday celebrations on April 26.
After agreeing to a 50/50 split, however, they agreed not to use their daughter in any social media posts they could profit from without their former spouse's approval.
Now, Jenna cares for their daughter Monday to Wednesday morning and Channing Thursday to Friday.
As part of the co-parenting agreement, they alternate weekends.
