Cuddly toy company Jellycat is suing Next and Hamleys for “substantial” damages over claims they made similar products of “inferior quality” after copying their designs, according to High Court documents.

Jellycat is suing the two companies over allegations that they have been “passing off” their products as Jellycat’s, while also claiming that Hamleys infringed its designs.
