Jefferies Financial Group Inc. (NYSE:JEF) and Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group Inc. (NYSE:SMFG), along with Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation and SMBC Nikko Securities Inc., unveiled a sweeping expansion of their global strategic alliance on Friday.
