Jeff Bezos is silently putting his $500 million superyacht, Koru, which is one of the largest sailing yacht in the world, on sale as it is too big, Page Six reported. The superyacht even has a wooden sculpture modeled after Lauren Sanchez, then-girlfriend, now-wife, on the prow. The superyacht has a $75 million support ship, Abeona, though the report could not confirm whether Abeona is also part of the deal. It costs $30 million per year to operate the two ships together.
Koru in Māori means loop or coil, and is based on the spiral shape of an unfurling silver fern frond, as a necklace — a symbol that is special to the couple as Bezos cited before on his Instagram that Koru symbolizes new beginnings.
