Amazon's stock is declining on Tuesday following reports that company founder Jeff Bezos filed to sell more than $4 billion worth of shares.
CNBC noted that the sale took place on Monday through Morgan Stanley. The company reached a historical $3 billion market capitalization for the first time on that day after investors cheered a blockbuster second-quarter earnings report. Shares have climbed more than 20% so far this year.
